What does a Design-Exchange Broker do?
Conceptually similar to other brokerages. We are representatives consulted to find and purchase, as well as appointed to list, represent, and sell, products and designs. Traditionally, the seller pays the commissions from business realised from instruction or sale. Yet, we have a duty to both buyer and seller in every transaction. As of now, we do not get involved in agreements between the two parties. Our relationship is purely consulting and contractual.
What is Bang Design’s involvement once a Design, Product or IP has been sold?
Depending on your agreement, we can help either side with our full cycle of services – Industrial Design, UX design, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, Supply Chain of Marketing Assets, and much more.
How do you deal with enquiries once I submit a Need?
We listen closely to your requirements. Our listing of available products is mostly public on this page, but we will help you determine if the product or technology you are considering is the right one for your purpose, at the best value. We have an intimate knowledge of current market conditions, a familiarity with several technologies, information on recent sale prices, and current status of the product of technology with the provider.
What is involved in the sale or purchase of a design or product?
It depends on your product, industry, region and terms of sale or purchase. We will introduce you to the right legal and commercial partners (we have no business affiliations) to help you draft the right contracts and agreements.
