Why develop a Specialty Wearable instead of using a consumer product for the same purpose?

Unlike smartphones, consumer wearables come with many restrictions. They often do not have the right sensors. Or third party apps cannot modify sensor or feature parameters as may be necessary.

What does this actually cost me?

It depends of course. We recommend an initial primer of $3499 per month to get started with an agreement on royalty and/or equity share, if there is the probability of setting up a new venture. In addition, you may choose to partially dedicate one or more internal resources to act as an interface for this program. This initial month will help set the framework for further development.

What if I need to pause in the middle for lack of funds?

We understand that cash flow issues can occur from time to time. But yes, you can 100% pause and resume anytime, just like in the stock subscription plan.

What happens if we don’t take the program to completion?

It is a possibility. But we will do everything we can to see a program from idea to shipping. In case the program has to be abandoned, then we revoke the agreement, amicably.

Is there a guarantee of success?

While we can’t guarantee commercial success in any venture, our skin-in-the-game model coupled with our outcome-bound-reward ensures that we will always put our best foot forward and strive to achieve the desired results.

What is your Current Success Rate?

What is the timeline for developing a successful wearable?

Timelines depend upon the complexity of the product and wearables are no exception. It is good to assume a minimum of 9 months to get a market ready wearable.

Who owns the intellectual property (IP) during development?

All IP is jointly owned by both the parties during development. We typically do a handover after a certain milestone in revenue or time has been reached.
