Ultrahuman Launches Ring Pro in US Market

Ultrahuman, a Bengaluru-based health-tech startup, has launched its Ring Pro in the U.S. market following approval from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The launch comes after a period of import restrictions that cost the company up to $50 million in lost sales.

The Ring Pro is a smart ring that tracks health metrics. It was globally launched in late February 2026, and the U.S. approval comes less than a month after. The U.S. is a critical market for smart rings, accounting for 60% of the global total of 4.4 million units sold in 2025.

Ultrahuman is known for its smart rings, and the Ring Pro is its latest offering. The company’s previous model, Ring Air, was affected by the import restrictions. The Ring Pro is expected to help Ultrahuman regain its market share in the U.S., where it fell sharply during the period of import restrictions.

The smart ring market is growing rapidly, with 2.6 million units sold in the U.S. in 2025, a 59% year-over-year growth. Oura, a competitor, has expanded its dominance in the market in recent quarters.
