Semiconductor startup Frore Systems has raised $143 million in a Series D funding round, reaching a valuation of $1.64 billion, the company announced on March 16, 2026. The round was led by MVP Ventures, with participation from Fidelity, Mayfield, Addition, Qualcomm Ventures, and Alumni Ventures, among others.
With this round, Frore Systems has raised a total of $340 million. The company, founded by two former Qualcomm engineers, specializes in liquid-cooling systems for chips. Initially, Frore focused on air-cooling technology for phones and other small fanless electronics but shifted its focus to chips following a suggestion from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
